The approach is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and document studies. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion-drawing techniques. The study results indicate that although supervisors have appropriate academic qualifications, there is nonlinearity with the tasks given, where one MTs supervisor does not yet have a Master's degree, which is a requirement. The performance gap occurs because some supervisors do not set curriculum supervision priorities or detail the coaching program's implementation schedule. Teacher coaching activities are mostly done through MGMP, while class visits and observations are rarely conducted. This problem impacts the less-than-optimal performance of teachers in implementing the 2013 Curriculum, especially in the preparation of learning devices, determination of Minimum Learning Completeness (KBM), implementation of learning, and preparation of assessment instruments. This shows that implementing the 2013 Curriculum in madrasas in South Tangerang City in 2019 is still far from expectations.
Mu'arif Mu'arif, Muhamad Syukur, Salsabila Azahra ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 http://pakar.pkm.unp.ac.id/index.php/pakar/article/view/645 Fri, 27 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Problem Based Learning Model with Animation Videos on the Topic Fractions in Elementary School http://pakar.pkm.unp.ac.id/index.php/pakar/article/view/603
The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of employing animated video learning materials on the learning outcomes for comparable fractions in fourth-grade math students. This research aims to describe teachers' strategies for cultivating mathematical literacy skills among second-grade students. The goal of mathematics education is for students to understand and utilize mathematical concepts, solve problems, communicate effectively, apply reasoning, and cultivate a respectful attitude. When individuals encounter mathematical problems, they typically identify, organize, and relate them to their mathematical knowledge. The research employs qualitative methodology with a descriptive approach. The participants included second-grade teachers. Based on the observation results, it can be seen that in the planning phase, the teacher prepares teaching materials such as designing an engaging Learning Implementation Plan that adapts to the students' characteristics. They also prepared learning media and other teaching materials to support the learning process in the classroom, and they use ice breakers to enhance students' enthusiasm for learning both inside and outside the classroom. Additionally, teachers utilized learning media that are appropriate to the material being discussed. Teachers also provide motivation to students, which is defined as a person's internal strength (energy) that facilitates willingness and engagement in activities, originating from within the individual themselves. At the conclusion of the learning process, teachers often administer quizzes both written and verbal. Students who can answer correctly are allowed to go home early, while those who cannot answer correctly participate in remedial activities before dismissal.
Alvy Haryati, Puri Pramudiani ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 http://pakar.pkm.unp.ac.id/index.php/pakar/article/view/613 Sun, 29 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Innovative Development of Entrepreneurship Learning Materials Based on Learning Management System at Politeknik Pelayaran Sumatera Barat http://pakar.pkm.unp.ac.id/index.php/pakar/article/view/663
This study aimed to develop an entrepreneurship teaching module utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS) to enhance the learning process at the Politeknik Pelayaran Sumatera Barat.
