The utilization of local culture through the process of making ledre as ethnoscience-based learning media integrated with digital technology has great potential in supporting the success of the learning process. The research method used is the research and development model of Borg and Gall, which includes: initial data collection through observation and interviews for needs analysis; planning and designing the E-LKPD structure; developing the initial prototype; validation by material and media experts; product revision; small group trials; final revision; and field trials. The validation results showed that the feasibility of E-LKPD obtained an average score from media experts of 96.4% (very credible) and responses from teachers of 98.2% (very credible). Thus, the product is declared feasible to use as learning support at SDN 1 Sobontoro. Ethnoscience-based E-LKPD on the material of making typical Bojonegoro ledre is proven to be valid, practical, and feasible for use in the learning process of students. This study recommends the development of similar media for other grade levels and different local wisdom-based materials.
Fitriyaningsih Fitriyaningsih, Suryanti Suryanti, Wahono Widodo ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 http://pakar.pkm.unp.ac.id/index.php/pakar/article/view/795 Sun, 13 Jul 2025 09:29:02 +0000 The Implications of Social Media Use Among Teenagers in The Digital Era: An Islamic Education Perspective http://pakar.pkm.unp.ac.id/index.php/pakar/article/view/697
The use of social media is often a threat to the character and behavior of adolescents in the current era of disruption. This study examines the impact of social media on adolescents in the digital era from the perspective of Islamic education. Through a qualitative phenomenological approach, this research involved six students of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta who have direct contact with social media, through the stages of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that social media has positive impacts, such as facilitating access to information, building personal branding, and increasing insight, including in Islamic values. However, it also brings negative impacts, such as addiction, spreading false information, cyberbullying, and the FoMO (Fear of Missing Out) phenomenon. In addition, social media platform algorithms often control news information or content to its users that can affect the understanding of users' moral and religious values, so digital literacy and wisdom in filtering social media content are needed. Social media literacy in the perspective of Islamic education acts as a moral filter to help adolescents use social media wisely. So that through it can minimize the negative impact and shape the character of the younger generation in accordance with Islamic values.
Muzawir Munawarsyah, Dwi Ratnasari, Muhammad Hafiun, Abdullah Aziz ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 http://pakar.pkm.unp.ac.id/index.php/pakar/article/view/697 Sun, 13 Jul 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Mauidhoh Hasanah Communication Model in Family-Based Adolescent Sexual Education http://pakar.pkm.unp.ac.id/index.php/pakar/article/view/791
The background of this study is the low effectiveness of communication between parents and adolescents related to sexual education, which is influenced by parents' limited knowledge and adolescents' discomfort with communicating related to sexual issues in the family. This research aims to offer a communication model of sexual education in the family based on Mauidhoh Hasanah as a solution to the communication barriers found in the field. The research used a qualitative approach with the descriptive-analytical method. Primary data were collected through in-depth interviews with ten parents who have teenagers (aged 17-20 years), observation of communication interactions in the family, as well as an open-ended questionnaire to forty-five teenagers of the same age via WhatsApp. This data was used to understand parents' experiences, family communication patterns, and adolescents' perspectives on sexual education. Secondary data was obtained from a literature review related to the challenges of family sexual education and the principle of Mauidhoh Hasanah, which was analyzed thematically to strengthen the research conceptual framework. Data analysis was carried out with the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing according to the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that sexual education communication in the family is often hampered by parents' limited knowledge and adolescents' discomfort with communicating related to sexual issues in the family. Mauidhoh Hasanah-based communication model that emphasizes gentleness, compassion, wisdom, and exemplary is offered as a conceptual solution to create a more open and effective dialogue atmosphere. However, this model is still conceptual and needs to be further tested so that it can be applied optimally in various family contexts.
Lia Awaliyah, Encu Mulya Syamsul, Ahmad Zacky Burhani ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 http://pakar.pkm.unp.ac.id/index.php/pakar/article/view/791 Sun, 13 Jul 2025 11:47:50 +0000 Revisiting Indonesian Heritage in Elementary Education: Utilizing Critical Transformative Pedagogy to Foster Cultural Identity http://pakar.pkm.unp.ac.id/index.php/pakar/article/view/799
This study aims to examine the effectiveness of integrating cultural heritage into elementary education through a critical transformative pedagogical approach, focusing on strengthening students’ cultural identities. Through in-depth literature analysis and conceptual review, the findings reveal that culture-based teaching not only enriches students’ academic learning experiences but also plays a vital role in establishing a resilient and sustainable cultural identity. The role of educators is identified as a key element in the successful implementation of culture-based education, which requires ongoing professional development and strategic collaboration with local communities and stakeholders. Furthermore, active involvement of parents and local stakeholders can enhance cultural capital, serving as a foundational element for successfully implementing culturally responsive education. This study demonstrates that systematic and strategic integration of cultural content into the curriculum can improve students’ readiness to become active, critical, and adaptable citizens within a multicultural society. The research contributes significantly to the development of theories and practices related to culturally-based education in primary schooling, providing valuable references for policymakers and educators in designing relevant and transformative curricula.
Bunga Rosalina, Yusuf Tri Herlambang ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 http://pakar.pkm.unp.ac.id/index.php/pakar/article/view/799 Sun, 13 Jul 2025 13:37:12 +0000 The Influence of Islamic Religious Education Learning Based on Digital Wordwall Applications on the Character Education of Madrasah Aliyah Students http://pakar.pkm.unp.ac.id/index.php/pakar/article/view/790
This study aims to assess the effect of using digital Wordwall applications in Islamic Religious Education Learning (PAI) to strengthen students' character education in MAN 2 Majalengka. The background of this study departs from the importance of innovation in Islamic Religious Education Learning to strengthen the character of learners effectively and contextually. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a pre-test-post-test control group. The sample consisted of 70 students of Class XI who were divided into two groups: the experimental group (n=36) who participated in Wordwall-based Islamic Religious Education Learning , and the control group (n=34) who received conventional Islamic Religious Education Learning. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires that measured the five main indicators of strengthening Character Education (PPK), namely religious, nationalist, Independent, mutual aid, and integrity. Questionnaires were administered before and after treatment in both groups. The results of the data analysis showed that there was an increase in character in both groups, but the increase in the experimental group was statistically more significant than the control group (p<0.05). These findings indicate that using the Wordwall application can positively contribute to the formation and strengthening of the character of learners. Therefore, the application of interactive digital learning media such as Wordwall is highly recommended to be integrated into Islamic Religious Education Learning in madrasah as an effort to build character education that is more effective and fun.
Siti Maulida, Herdianto Wahyu Pratomo, Nurhidayat Nurhidayat ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 http://pakar.pkm.unp.ac.id/index.php/pakar/article/view/790 Sun, 13 Jul 2025 14:18:47 +0000
