PAKAR (Penelitian Aktual dan Kajian Analisis Reformasi) Pendidikan p-ISSN: 1693-2226; e-ISSN: 2303-2219, a journal in the field of education published twice a year (January and July) by The Center of Research and Scientific Development of Student, PPIPM UNP at the Universitas Negeri Padang. a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to interchange for the results of high-quality research, in theory, concepts, and practices related to curriculum, media, models, instruments, development, and education evaluation. The journal publishes state-of-art papers in fundamental theory, experiments, and simulation, as well as applications, with a systematic proposed method, sufficient review of previous works, expanded discussion, and concise conclusion. PAKAR Pendidikan published two issue in one year, the articles published in English or Bahasa Indonesia.

Peer Review Process

PAKAR Pendidikan reviewing policies are:

1. Every submitted paper will be reviewed by at least two peer reviewers.

2. Reviewers are unaware of the identity of the authors, and authors are also unaware of the identity of reviewers (Double-blind review method).

3. Reviewing process will consider:

a. Ethics: The author has ensured research work and publication ethics.

b. Relevance to the scope of the journal.

c. Novelty, objectivity, and scientific impact

d. Theoretical Framework: The theoretical framework is clearly presented and explained.

e. Problem Statement: The problem statement is clearly presented and explained.

f. Research Question: The research question is clearly presented and explained.

g. Research Methods: The research methods are appropriate and clearly presented.

h. Results: The results are adequately, clearly presented, and discussed.

4. The reviewers recommend an overall rating:

a. Accept

b. Neither accept nor reject: minor revisions needed

b. Neither accept nor reject: major revisions needed

c. Reject

5. The reviewer will be involved if the recommendations are contradictory. The final decision is made by the editor in chief.
